Aut0
Aut0 is L1fe's autonomous-organization runtime. It models organizations, departments, teams, positions, approval paths, durable work, and operating subsystems populated by accountable agents.
Forge supplies the agents that run inside those positions. Aut0 supplies the organization boundary, role context, workflow state, and operator surfaces around them.
Runtime relationship
| System | Responsibility |
|---|---|
| Forge | Agent logic, identity, tools, providers, telemetry, Brew contracts. |
| Flowers | Durable execution, journals, signals, workflow state, retries. |
| Aut0 | Autonomous organization boundary and product orchestration. |
Aut0 sits above Forge. It does not replace the SDK, the ANVIL runtime contract, or the OAS identity model. It composes them into a durable organization model.
Forge to Flowers bridge
The Rust reference includes forge-flowers, which maps Forge workflow handlers
and resolved Brew plans into the Flowers execution model.
Dynamic Brews should be resolved before durable execution. Flowers executes the frozen plan, not a symbolic graph that can change mid-run.
Operator surfaces
Aut0-oriented deployments should expose:
- execution status
- signal sending
- journal inspection
- identity and ACT metadata
- tool and provider step history
- rollback or replay evidence
